The Dakota Cougars had too much offense for the Norsemen to post their 5th victory. The final score was 42-12.
Tommie Watkins scored two touchdowns, but the Norsemen had a tough time moving the ball. Watkins had several rushes for big gains. A.J. Brooks completed passes to Jay Henderson and Jordan Ulmer. However, the offense spent too much time on the sidelines watching the powerful rushing game of Dakota.
North's defense made several stops in the first quarter. Dakota's opening drive was stalled. The Cougars were forced to make a field goal attempt. The field goal attempt was missed. By halftime however, the Cougars had 35 points on the board.
North is looking forward to the white division match up with Mott next Friday.
